    16 Apr, 2008

  • CaptionMax takes control with Drupal

    22 Dec, 2007

This is the second iteration we’ve built for CaptionMax—we were originally hired by the design firm e10 to build a static HTML website for CaptionMax back in 2003. Since then, we’ve worked directly for CaptionMax on maintenance and were able to extoll the virtues of Drupal to the point where they decided to make the leap to a Content Management System. e10 developed the visuals for this updated site. Our usual arrangement with a design firm is that they send us the Photoshop or inDesign files and we do the rest. It’s a pretty cool site, multilingual, there’s a job posting/application process we put together that’s pretty slick too.

  • Key Surgical uses fivefivefour and Drupal to provide an interactive customer experience

    14 Nov, 2007

Our partner Tom Dupont brought us into this project when he was developing a new brand identity for Key Surgical. The design for this site was done by Barb Friberg of Friberg Design in conjunction with a beautiful new print catalog and identity system. Key Surgical has over 1100 products in their catalog, arranged into a rather complex hierarchy. We wrote a custom Drupal module to manage the ‘Instrument Tray’ feature on this site, and there’s a fair amount of custom PHP going on in the background to manage the navigation of the hierarchy of products.

  • Joyce Preschool uses Drupal for Español and English

    12 Jun, 2007

    June 12, 2007
Joyce Preschool has been providing quality early education to children and families for over 40 years and two-way Spanish-English immersion programming since 1995. By approaching fivefivefour, Joyce Preschool took advantage of fivefivefour's experience with multiple language content management utilizing Drupal. Bi-lingual Drupal allows Joyce Preschool to reach out to the entire community and ensure a 50/50 ratio of first language English and Spanish speaking students.
The fivefivefour Drupal Content Management System deployed for Joyce Preschool allows for maximum flexibility within an information architecture that will enable Joyce Preschool to expand and enhance their web presence in the years to come. Joyce Preschool selected Mary Jo Little to create the design for this website and fivefivefour was pleased to work with an experienced print designer on her first website design.

  • CEIMN upgrades with new design and Drupal by fivefivefour

    04 Apr, 2007

Citizens for Election Integrity Minnesota has been working with fivefivefour since January of 2005, just a couple months after their inception in November of 2004. CEIMN upgraded to Drupal in March of 2006 and utilized Drupal's powerful content management system in conjunction with CivicRM to help organize Minnesota's first Post-Election Audit of the Voting System in November of 2006. CEIMN organized 208 election observers for this process and manages hundreds of contacts related to election integrity organizing.

fivefivefour upgraded CEIMN's Drupal from version 4.7 to version 5.0, which was an easy task for fivefivefour's Drupal professionals. CEIMN wanted a new visual design and fivefivefour was able to put together a design that brings to life the breadth of CEIMN's contribution to the election integrity movement.
CEIMN and fivefivefour coordinated their efforts to roll out the new website on the same day that CEIMN released their Report and Analysis of the 2006 Post-Election Audit of Minnesota’s Voting Systems. Check out the report on CEIMN's new website.
